1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information — your name, email address, and phone number provided at sign-up.
• Invitee contact details — phone numbers or messaging handles you provide when briefing the agent. These are used solely to send coordination messages on your behalf.
• Conversation content — messages exchanged between the agent and invitees in the course of coordinating a plan. This content is used to converge on a plan and is not used for any other purpose.
• Usage data — standard server logs including IP addresses and request timestamps, used for security, rate limiting, and debugging.
• Waitlist data — if you join the waitlist, your name, email, and any optional information you provide (such as the type of meeting you'd want help with or your typical planning deadline).

3. Why We Collect It

• To provide and operate the Service — coordinating plans requires knowing who to contact and what to say.
• To send you notifications about plan outcomes, account activity, and Service updates.
• To prevent abuse, spam, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To improve the Service based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Retention

Conversation transcripts — the messages between the agent and invitees — are retained for 30 days after a plan locks or closes. After that period they are permanently deleted. We retain only the plan outcome (who confirmed, what time, what place) for billing and account history purposes.

Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services to operate MeetMaker:

• Resend — transactional email delivery for waitlist confirmations and account notifications.
• Channel bridges — connections to WhatsApp and Telegram that enable the agent to send and receive messages on those platforms.
• Cloud infrastructure — servers and storage used to run the Service.

Each sub-processor is bound by a data processing agreement and may not use your data for any purpose beyond providing their services to us.

6. GDPR and CCPA Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

7. Security

We apply industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and periodic security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance.
