Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about how MeetMaker works.

How is this different from Doodle, Calendly, or a group chat?
Doodle and Calendly work when everyone cooperates: they fill in a form, check a calendar, or follow a link. Most groups don't. MeetMaker reaches out to each person individually on the channel they're already on, handles the back-and-forth in the background, and gives you a single confirmed answer — without a shared link, a group thread, or any action required from your invitees beyond a simple reply.
Do invitees need to install anything?
No. Invitees receive a message on the channel the host has for them — WhatsApp, Telegram, or others — and simply reply. Nothing to install, no account needed, no link to click.
Can replies stay private from other invitees?
Yes. This is the core mechanic. Each conversation is between the agent and one person only. No invitee sees anyone else's response or availability. The agent aggregates privately and reports a summary only to the host.
What messaging channels are supported?
WhatsApp and Telegram are supported at launch. More channels are planned. The agent uses whichever channel you have for each invitee — different people in the same plan can be on different channels.
What if I want to override the agent's suggestion?
You always have the final say. The agent brings you a convergent answer and waits for your confirmation. You can accept it, adjust it, or instruct the agent to re-run with different parameters.
Can I run recurring meetings or events?
Yes, on the Group Host plan. Set up a recurring schedule — weekly poker, monthly book club, quarterly team dinner — and the agent handles each round automatically based on the same parameters.
What languages does the agent speak?
The agent currently operates in English and Hebrew. Additional languages are on the roadmap. Responses from invitees can come in any language the agent recognises.
What happens if invitees disagree on time or place?
The agent asks follow-up questions to narrow the gap. If it can't find a slot that works for the required number of people before the deadline, it reports back honestly: 'Couldn't lock — 3 yes, 1 no, 1 no response. Want to retry?' You decide how to proceed.
How is my data and my invitees' data handled?
Conversation transcripts are retained for a short period after a plan locks, then redacted. Invitee contact information is used only to facilitate the coordination you brief us on. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I cancel a meeting that's in progress?
Cancel at any time through the interface. The agent sends a polite notification to all invitees who have been contacted. If the plan hadn't locked yet, you're not charged.
